New Open Studio Classes! 6 weeks at A Create Place We are switching back to Thursday evenings! 6:00 to 8:00pm six two hour chunks of Open Studio learning time with Caryn for $150 ($25 per 2 hour session) Last class is Thursday, June 5th.
Get ready to make some progress with your art this spring as we dig into learning about painting people! With this 6-week series, where we will explore the concept of painting loose and lively figures into your paintings! We'll start very basic and work our way up. I'll be learning with you ! During this series I'll be demonstrating how I do it but also providing an open forum for student suggestions, exploring new methods and hope to sneak in a guest speaker if I can. You will also have the opportunity to work on your own projects using the medium of your choice. Some notes to know:
We will exchange ideas, ask questions and get feedback on what is working for you and what isn't.
You are free to use any new skills and projects that I introduce, or continue working on your own projects.
We will provide time and space for you to work at your own pace.
Bring your own drinks or snacks ... whatever you'd enjoy. I'll have plenty of hot tea on hand to share.
Attending an in-person art class each week gives you or your child the benefit of consistency and designated time and place set aside for creative pursuits.
You or your child will benefit from learning what process steps to take.
I will also provide inspiration by sharing and discussing what I'm currently working on.
