What will be included in the painting?
This is very much up to you! Some things to consider when hiring a live painter are: How much of the background scene do you want included? Is there special foliage you love? Do you want the bridal party to be in the scene? Do you prefer the wedding ceremony or the reception? I will discuss all of these fun details with you during our phone consultation. You can let me know what details are important, including your flowers or a family pet. You may even consider including the cake! |

How long will you paint?
I will sketch and paint for about 5 to 6 hours. Painting begins a minimum of 2 hours before the ceremony starts and will continue through the cocktail hour and sometimes into the reception as guests enjoy the event. Your family and friends will be able to walk by and see the art as it's being made and talk with me. My artistic style is loose and fresh so faces are not exact likenesses, instead I capture the joy, colors and breadth of the moment. I paint all around Florida using professional grade watercolors on cold-pressed watercolor paper. The final 16X20" or smaller art piece will be mailed (or picked up) unframed in either a mail-able tube or a protective sleeve with backer board.

When will I get my final art piece?
The painting will be completed and finalized in my home art studio about 2 weeks following your event. If you would like, we can arrange a time for you to come to my Oviedo art studio to pick up your completed artwork. If you live out of town, I am happy to ship. |

If you have special religious or family traditions, I can help you to capture them in watercolors. Having painted at over 100 weddings, I have the experience needed to gracefully honor your family's heritage and beliefs.
Your bridal party or guests can be included in the scene, or just put the focus on your and your fiancé. I have plenty of examples to help you decide which you would prefer. Keep in mind that large bridal parties will require the painting to be oriented horizontally and may require a small additional fee because of the extra time needed.

Cost
Different price point packages are offered and are customizable. Some include prints of your painting as well as thank you note cards that have your finished painting on the front and your wedding date on the back.

Your complete cost includes art supplies, drawing, painting time at the event and afterwards as details are finished up and your piece is professionally matted and packaged in-studio.

Will you travel?
Yes, I travel for weddings all over Florida and South GA! From Amelia Island to Jacksonville to Palm Beach to Sarasota and Boca Raton... covering many other towns in between. I am happy to travel to wherever your venue is located! A travel expense is added if your event is more than 60 minutes outside of the Orlando area. |
