Dive into the world of watercolors as we focus on acquiring the skills necessary to articulate visual ideas in paint, including how to organize compositions using color and value relationships, form and shape, placement, and paint application. We will learn how to manipulate both paint and brush, learn about composition, color theory, shading, highlights, shadows, washes, and more!

Get ready to kick back, relax and create. This upcoming morning of our quarterly "Brushes and Brunch" series will give participants the opportunity to focus on all they are grateful for. We will use Caryn's bursting supplies of stamps, stickers, scrap booking items and watercolor sets in A Create Place (her home art studio) Choose to do gratitude journaling, bible journaling or scrapbook your family's holiday memories ... you decide! We'll have plenty of informal instruction and examples.
Note: In order to have plenty of time to create, this brunch will be simplified and consist of an assortment of hot tea, coffee, scones, fruit and mimosas.
