Inspired by a new friend's farm imagery, these eggs piled on top of one another were painted in my home studio. The piece has a beautiful mix of warm grays, terra-cotta colored eggs and cool greenish-blue eggs placed next to one another. The juxtaposition is eye grabbing!
This little bacon and eggs beauty came out of a teaching demonstration for my watercolor class. My most beloved meal of the day, this lovely piece is one of my very favorites. The yellow of the yolks compliments the blue background beautifully. It is fresh and always brings a smile to people's faces.
Painted in 2015 this painting has always held a special place in my heart. The blues and purples compliment one the yellow so that this piece becomes a gorgeous and eye catching kitchen or dining room conversation piece.
This original was painted for a banana bread recipe illustration and has such a homey warmth to it, thatyou can almost smell the freshness. Consider purchasing with the banana original for $50 off the pair.
Bright jar of fresh honey. This honey jar just glows from within. Hang this piece next to a hot tea station or give the perfect gift to a bee keeping, honey loving friend.
Painted while selling art as a guest artist at Hallmark, this original painting was created to go along with the bible verse, Psalm 73. "My HEART and my flesh may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
This fresh bunch of multi-colored carrots was created in St. Augustine, FL after visiting their wonderful local farmer's market. Crisp in the foreground, the carrots fade to soft and blurry in the background.
It is such a challenge and yet so much fun to paint glass. This is a still life composed of items in my kitchen and from outside my studio's french doors. The bright blues and orangey-yellows compliment one another and will infuse life into any room of your home.
One of my very favorite pieces, this original watercolor was created after working a booth for many months at a local farmer's market. The owners of the market had piglets and suggested that I paint them. This piece took some careful planning because of the straw and background, but in the end, I loved the results!
A small summer study of my favorite ice cream, mint chocolate chip.

This marvelous mahi watercolor was so much fun to paint. It is one of a kind and no prints were ever made of this piece. I truly enjoyed layering on all of the textures and colors in my home art studio.

Hudson the sea turtle. This watercolor was created while on vacation in Hudson, Florida with friends. The sea turtle kept coming around while our boys were fishing. Such a wonderful memory of this beautiful sea creature in our warm Florida waters.

Spawned from a family trip to Colorado. Our friends caught this trout fly fishing in a rocky stream. Being from Florida it was so cool to see a cold water fish like this. Brown trouts are full of vibrant color and speckles. I truly enjoyed capturing them in this one of a kind original.

These tiny shad shook out of my son's cast net while on Crescent Beach, FL. I actually finally got to paint them about a year later while on vacation in Seaside, FL. It was so lovely to sit and paint creatures from the sea while at a beach house.

These colorful oyster shells were inspired by my mom's 70th birthday. My brothers and I took her on a trip to Destin, FL and it was the first time she ever actually ate oysters. We had so much fun getting her to try them! The cool colors of the shellintermingle in such a dreamy way.

Stormy ominous clouds over calm waters. This piece was painted as part of a series of multiple stormy sky landscapes.
Second part of the Calm Before The Storm series, this piece boasts blues, grays and moody purples above a rocky background.
Painted this piece from a photograph I had taken on a boat ride. It was a day of much needed rest and the serene, calm, scenery soothed me.

Fresh off of my art studio desk. This piece was created to teach painting rocks to my advanced watercolor class and I enjoyed painting it so much that I have a second one in the works.
This Maine lobster is a tribute to the state I've never been to. While I love exploring and painting Florida sea creatures, I've always wanted to head north and explore the New England Coasts. Until that day comes, the next best thing to a visit for me is painting the scenery. This guy is also known as Atlantic lobster, Canadian lobster, true lobster, northern lobster and Canadian Reds.
