June 20th through June 24th Monday through Friday Ages 6 through 12 9:00am through 12:00pm each day. Your child will learn art theory while exploring new mediums in a fun, hands-on week. Plans are underway for new projects that include cool collages, shoebox diorama, gumball machine goodness, japanese cherry blossom paintings, self portraits, drawing and of course our ever popular, edible art. We will meet from 9am to noon with breaks for snacks and outdoor play. Each day, we give one prize per table to students displaying the character trait of the day. We will discuss the values of hard work, gratitude, kindness, patience and helpfulness. By the end of the week, each child will have received a prize. I always have creative helpers working alongside of me, so the kids will get plenty of individual help and attention. We plan to have fun and get messy, so let them wear casual clothes. The last day of camp we hold a parent art show, complete with refreshments. The kids can take their parents around and show them all of their creations! It is a special time for everyone. The art camp is hosted by local artists, Caryn Dahm and Holli Luther. It is at Metro Church in Winter Springs just off the SR 417 overpass. Cost is $125 per child (we added in Friday this year) All materials, prizes and supplies are provided. Register online here. To arrange a payment plan, or to physically mail in your registration form with a check, download the printable form here. If you attended previous years of Caryn Dahm's art camp and would like to fill in our survery, we'd love to hear your feedback! Check out some photos from our previous art camps. |
